1923 Graduated as B.A. from Stetson University
1924 "Graduated as M.A. from Columbia University. Majored in International Relations and Law. Married Susan Gim Ling YIP in Hong Kong. Subsequently had two sons and one daughter."
1928 Became Acting Commissioner of Foreign Affairs for Guangdong Provincial Government. Subsequently acted for three more times
1930 Became Commissioner of Foreign Affairs for Guangdong Provincial Government (headed by warlord Chen Jitang (or Chan Chai-tong)
1931 "Taught International law in Sun Yat-sen University Secretary for Guangzhou (Canton) Government Mrs Leung became Principal of First Provincial Girls’ School in Guangzhou (the only girls’ high school in the Guangdong Province). Leung also taught English there"
1936 Chen was removed as head of the Guangdong Provincial Government. He was commissioned to tour Europe to investigate new developments in agriculture. The Leungs accompanied him on the tour
During WWII The Leungs taught English in various universities around Guangdong Province
1950s The Leungs moved to Hong Kong.
1957-58 to 1959-60 Hong Kong Baptist College (HKBC) was established in 1956. The Leungs taught English in the College
1959-68 Appointed the second librarian for HKBC
1961 "Awarded M.S.L.S. by Louisiana State University Awarded LL.D. by Stetson University"
1966 The Bessie Fleming Library opened on HKBC Campus. Prior to 1966 HKBC did not have its own campus and operated in the premises of Pui Ching Middle School
Aug-68 The Leungs moved back to Vancouver. Leung was instrumental in setting up the Baptist Chinese Fellowship in Vancouver. Leung was invited to be adviser (see https://vcbc.ca/cc/history/ )
1973 “Yip Sang: biography, 1845-1927” was published. This bilingual Chinese and English book about his father-in-law’s life was compiled by Dr Leung and published in Hong Kong by the Yip family. The book contains the Yip family tree including the names of Dr Leung’s children and grandchildren
1985 Mrs Leung passed away
