Scope and Contents
This folder contains Hong Kong government reports on human rights and a United Nations Hearing Committee of Human Rights Report listing the concerns and recommendations on human rights in Hong Kong. Other documents include Hong Kong Christian Institute’s correspondence with the Hong Kong government offices such as Legco and Home Affairs Bureau, as well as the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights. The correspondence is all about human rights. There is also a volume of submissions to the Human Rights Sub-committee of the Joint Standing committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade, Australian Parliament. These submissions discuss issues related to the transfer of Hong Kong's sovereignty, such as political systems and human rights.
