Scope and Contents

Dr. Chang Chuen is a scholar in Chinese history, and his expertise is in the history of Sui and Tang dynasties (隋唐史). In the Chang Chuen Papers, the majority of the documents are on Chinese history, and the rest are related to arts, culture, Chinese language and literature, geography, travel, philosophy and religion. The Papers are chiefly in Chinese, only a few materials are in Arabic, English and Japanese.

Scope and Contents The Tse-tsung Chow (周策縱) Papers provide a broad overview of Prof. Chow’s career and achievements as a renowned scholar, teacher, poet and writer. The Papers contain abundant correspondence from his friends and students, scholars, and different publishers discussing with him on various subject matters such as personal business, research work, poetry, conferences, and other work activities.
