Baptist World Alliance, 1957 - 1968
Scope and Contents
This folder contains correspondence expressing gratitude to the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) for their assistance in fundraising for the College. Additionally, it includes letters responding to invitations from the BWA for their meetings.
The folder includes:
- A letter with the Hong Kong Governor, Sir David Trench, regarding the 1970 Baptist Convention in Hong Kong.
- Primarily consisting of correspondence, minutes, and reports from the Baptist World Alliance.
- The Baptist World Alliance serves as an organization that connects various conventions and unions globally. Dr. Lam Chi Fung was a member of its Executive Committee and served as the vice president for Hong Kong. Mr. Franklin Liu also held the position of vice-chairman for Hong Kong within the organization.
- The correspondence not only addresses the financial needs of the College and the BWA but also highlights the various services provided by the BWA members.
