This folder contains outgoing correspondence and memoranda from Derek Tse, Special Assistant for Administration of HKBC, concerning resolutions made by the College Council and recommendations made by the Administrative Committee on various matters such as HKBC’s medical benefit scheme, staff appointments, tuition fee, staff salary revision, office space allocation, arrangements for HKBC’s ceremonies and activities, etc.

• Revised guidelines for use of Academic Community Church for weddings (memorandum dated 23 December, 1980)
• A letter to be sent to the Police Department asking for the enforcement of the no-U-turn regulation at the main entrance of the College with an alternative suggestion to construct a “safety island” in the middle of the main entrance (memorandum dated 20February, 1981)
• The HKBC Board of Governors was established by the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong (formerly known as Hong Kong Baptist Churches Association) on March 5, 1956 (memorandum dated February 21, 1981)
• Draft design of plaques of appreciation to honour major donors on a dinner ceremony (letter dated April 28, 1981)
• Approval on the Student Union’s request to increase its membership fee from $20 to $30 (memorandum dated May 18, 1981)
• Approval on the request of Hong Kong Baptist Hospital to bear the cost of soil removal and the construction of the toe wall and retaining wall at the Southeast corner of the College adjoining the Hospital site in exchange for the right of way of the College access road crossing the Northeast corner of the Hospital (memorandum dated May 18, 1981)
