This folder contains the Annual Reports of the Library, the Librarian’s Reports to the SECO and a Review of Hong Kong Baptist College Library’s Development, 1987/88-1991/92.

• 1975-76: Developing a MF collection and installed a MF reader
• Sep 1975: started the computerization of the Library catalogue system
• 1975-76: Reader’s ticket for alumni started
• 30 April 1977: Zonta Club Conference Room in the Lui Ming Choi Library opened
• 1979-80: Exchange acquisition service launched
• Jan 1981: 1st volume of Series in Chinese Literature compiled by the Library was published
• 15 Jan 1982: Foundation Laying Ceremony for the Fong Shu Chuen Library
• 1983 Summer: Relocation of the Bessie Fleming Library and the Lui Ming Choi Library to Fong Shu Chuen Library
• 14 Dec 1984: Opening Ceremony of the Fong Shu Chuen Library
• Apr 1985: contracts signed for the acquisition of URICA
• 1984-85: Security system (security gate at the front entrance and sensitizing/desensitizing equipment installed
• Jul 1985: URICA system installed
• 4 Nov 1986: Push-button ceremony of HKBC Library automation system at the Landmark by Sir David Akers-Jones
• 2-7 Mar 1987: 1st Library Week held in the Library
• 1988 summer: HK Reference Collection formed
• Oct 1988: a digital piano installed in the Media Services Section
• 1989-90: planned to build a new Library on Renfrew Road Campus
• Mar 1991: JUPLAC cards issued to teaching staff and equivalent administrative staff members
• 1991-92: subscribed to 2 new bibliographic utilities (CDMARC Bibliographic and the OCLC Music Collection on CD)
